When they first announced the AVN Award nominees for ‘Transsexual Performer of the Year,’ I was pretty certain that it would be a runaway train with Kimber James taking the award… BUT…

According to this recent poll on a well known TS Message Board, it looks like the public thinks that Hazel Tucker and TS Jesse both have equal chances of taking the award instead of Kimber James. I think it’s great that there is the perception at least of some competition for this category… I guess all that’s left to say now is, ‘May The Best Girl Win!’

Well, as the 2009 year rolls to a close it certainly seems that some interesting news is coming from TS Jesse via her Twitter account recently… Followers of her may have seen the mention of ‘MTV,’ and if you’re like me, having grown up on the channel, the very mention of it brings to mind great television moments of ‘Road Rules’ and ‘Real World.’

Turns out, TS Jesse did a pre-interview for a possible upcoming ‘True Life’ like show… Now my curiosity is really in high drive! Just from a PR perspective, being on a major network like MTV has got to be good for the ol’ career but more than that, I’ve always been a fan of the ‘True Life’ series… although, really wasn’t that impressed with their last ‘TS-related’ episode.
